My WFH Essentials

My work from home essentials for when I’m working remotely from my actual home. I’ll dive into the must-have products that promise to elevate your home office experience. From ergonomic furniture that keeps discomfort at bay to tech gadgets that streamline your workflow. These are the products I’ve invested in to help turn my space into a haven of efficiency and comfort, ensuring that every day that I’m actually home I’m more productive, less potato.

REMINDER TO FIX YOUR POSTURE.

I bet you’re reading this post laying in bed with your neck tucked into your chest.

Be better.

Under desk treadmill/walking pad

I get the most use out of this bad boy when I’m in meetings that I don’t really need to contribute to (more for my information, like all-hands meetings), virtual trainings, slow paced calls, document reviews, etc. You can even fold the bar down and place either a high desk even an adjustable standing desk to put your laptop on. I’ve found it to be super convenient with it’s compact size, easy to also move right in front of my TV to get even more steps in. Unfortunately you won’t be able to adjust the incline of this particular walking pad.

Adjustable Standing Desk

Pairs PERFECTLY with a walking pad! Or without a walking pad is great too– this is for those of you looking to combat the sedentary lifestyle us office workers tend to live. It is highly suggested to alternate between standing and sitting to keep you a bit more active.

Ergonomic Office Chair

I see you hunched into your expensive office chair like the little gremlin you are.

👀

SIT. UP. STRAIGHT.

This is also a reminder for myself.

Ergonomic Mouse

I am a firm vertical mouse believer and will NEVER switch back. Using a vertical mouse keeps your hand in it’s natural position thus reducing twisting of the forearm while also reducing the amount of strain on your forearm and wrist. This is the mouse that I have in my personal set up, which is a bit pricey so here are some alternative options I found on Amazon:

Anker vertical mouse

Logitech vertical mouse

ECHTPower vertical mouse

Wrist Rest

This incredibly soft, memory foam wrist rest is one of my favorite items that provide me with peak comfort. Admittedly, I did buy this one because it is very cute so here are some less cutesy alternatives:

Gorilla Grip wrist rest

Gimars wrist rest

Under Desk Foot Rest

To use when you’re sitting down in your office chair– the drop shape design of this brand’s foot rest is meant to provide support to the arch of your foot for maximum comfort and posture.

Yes, I have this. And yes, I also still sit with 1 foot up on my chair like the South East Asian that I am.

Laptop Stand

Perfectly adjustable to reach an ideal height for typing, watching and sitting properly while supporting your back and neck forcing you into better posture to fix ya damn stiff neck.

Not me owning the most ideal ergonomic-friendly set up and still slouched in my chair with 1 leg up, hunched over my desk every day. 😭 This is a friendly reminder that you can and should strive to be better than me.
