Latest books I’ve read

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero

You can purchase the book here.

This was actually a super fun and entertaining light read. The goal of the book is to help you overcome self-doubt and achieve your goals by offering practical tips and advice for self-improvement, as well as inspiring stories and personal anecdotes to help you stay motivated and focused.

Although I do have being told what to do, I still enjoyed reading this book. Not sure if it actually affected my life. I did enjoy all the humor and personality behind her advice! Made the book an easy read for me.

Grit by Angela Duckworth

You can purchase the book here.

This book was gifted to me by my bestfriend who understood the struggles I’ve been going through trying to navigate through my field and life in general. Despite all struggles, always work on cultivating a growth mindset, set goals that align with your values, and most importantly: bounce back from failure. Having passion for your work and achieving great things through your own perseverance is grit at its finest. I’ll have to admit this is not the usual type of book I’d read, but I’m glad I gave it a shot.

Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

You can purchase the book here.

I’d call this a groundbreaking and highly influential work that offers valuable insights into how we make decisions, and how we can improve our thinking and decision-making skills. If you’re interested in psychology, human behavior, or simply want to make better decisions in your personal or professional life, this is the book for it.

And uhhhh I also didn’t finish it. Sorry. Still would recommend.

Shut up and Run by Robin Arzon

You can buy the book here.

Disclaimer: I do not like running. I only run out of necessity from 1. my problems and 2. because I’m aging and my metabolism is not what it used to be.

I’ll have to admit that I only read this because Robin is one of my absolute favorite fitness instructors! She’s so full of determination and passion, it was no surprise to find out her book mimicked her personality of fun and hilarious. The book isn’t just about running, it’s also about finding your own strength and power as a person. She is such an amazing story teller.
